It sets a cookie, and if the cookie is present, it pretends that the site is empty. Neat trick.

The effect is spoilt somewhat if you have a dialogue box pop up saying that the site is trying to set a cookie.

I didn't click it at first, but had to re-vote after I'd read Lucy's vote and thought I'd give it a go. I think telling people how it works in the comments is *mean* though.
