Hmm, it might work for you, but I suspect if ask/reason fails for me, "do without" or "do it myself" are more likely to work, depending on what it is. (Or "escalate to management and get someone else to tell him", in theory, I suppose, but it seems unlikely I'd have a case for that working when "reason" didn't.)
It's a strategy that works on other people, I haven't actually tried it on ewx. I suspect it works best on people who get bored of being kissed by me best (or you, if you were trying it)
