Following someone swimming into my feet(!) last night, my left foot hurts and I can't walk any more. So I'm about to get myself off to A&E.

In fact I went to my GP, they being reasonably close and able to produce an appointment at a sensible time at no notice. He thought it unlikely to be broken but sent me off for an X-ray to be sure. Either this didn't find anything or they didn't think to tell me that it did...

Foot seems to be a little better than before - I've not taken any painkillers since the morning and it only really starts hurting if I try to put any weight on it. Just getting lunch together became a major undertaking with only one working foot.

Completely exhausted right now (so I rather doubt I'll find my way to the pub this evening!); presumably a combination of healing up and having spent half the day finding my way from one medical establishment to another and back again (emailing my doctor the X-ray results obviously being far too inconvenient compared to making an invalid carry them).

Hoping to be a bit more mobile tomorrow.
