Comment notification emails

...there's a suggestion that it's somehow related to chiark. Experimentally I've bypassed SAUCE entirely, and this doesn't seem to have helped; there is still no evidence of LJ attempting to connect at all, never mind connecting and then being turned away. Which makes me suspect the problem lies outside chiark.

(update: it does seem to be SAUCE after all.)

I accidentally killed one of my userpics, so I thought I'd see if I could find it in my squid. No luck yet, but as part of the process I generated a page of all the userpics that my squid has seen recently, and LNR and I thought this was rather cool.
