NTL seem to be being crap at the moment, which means replies to emails you might send me may be a while coming, depending how long they are crap for. (Similarly LJ comments since I find out about those via email.)

Looks like I was maligning NTL (this time) - got home, retried DHCP: nothing; reseated cables into cable modem, retried DHCP, worked fine.
