I'm looking forward to the leap second already. I shall be able to exercise my geeky superiority by conspicuously waiting an extra second to wish people a happy new year after they've counted down the seconds from 23:59:55 to 23:59:59 and then started celebrating at 23:59:60, which as they SHOULD know is too early and not the new year at all! For that they have to wait for 00:00:00, a whole SECOND later!

Ahaha, the saps. Fools! Fools, all of them!

There was a (false) rumour going around that the Swiss were going to celebrate the new millennium in 2001, and not 2000 like everybody else. Alas, it was a hoax. :)

Does anyone know what the behaviour of the speaking clock (Timeline) is at a leap second?
