The ribbon cable looks remarkably like something else, but I can't quite put my finger on it -- plasticine perhaps? And that speaker grill is making my eyes go funny!

Try cropping the ribbon cable so the flashglow takes up about half the width, I think it'll be more pleasing.

I quite like the flash like that :)- and yes it remidsn me of plastacine as well, it always came in those flat packets but was ridgey inside :).
I like the tube map- I never knew they were spotty.
