When I hear macros I think about Macros in Microsoft Word. I am learning it in my course but I still could not explain it. Now that I see your photos I know you meant macrocosm.
Macro photography. I'd link to the Wikipedia article on the subject but it's rubbish, and I don't have time to improve it right now.
A pedantic definition would be any photograph in which the image on the sensor (or film) is at least as big as the subject, but people often blur this definition to refer to high magnification close-up photography in general; and rightly so, since the exact dimensions of the film aren't really of much interest to most viewers.
