You Briton!

Hang on a tic... I used to eat fish and chips myself... (I stopped, pretty much, after the time I set my kitchen on fire...)

Love fish and chips, so long as it's not cod, because that makes me go a funny shade of green.

Dammit, man, now I'm hungry and sorely tempted to make fish and chips for the peteMum and peteBrother tonight just to indulge myself... :P

The only thing I really like ketchup on is chips, and I far prefer brown sauce.

Oh, I am unable to eat mushy peas. Mainly because they look, taste, and have the texture of hobo vomit.

When I used to eat fish, I felt that ketchup rather spoilt the taste of the fish. When I used to be forced to eat peas at school, I often covered them in ketchup to try to mask the taste of pea, but I still wouldn't describe the result as anything other than eww.

With so much yummy food out there, why would anyone want to eat *peas*? Its an obsolete food group.

I never liked ketchup, don't normally like peas (just *sometimes* they work as an ingredient but I couldn't eat anything with a high pea content), am vegetarian and was never terribly keen on white fish anyway (it was always sausage and chips before).

So a bad idea all round there.

[x] I generally prefer mine without, but will happily finish off the childrens' fish that does have it on.

I'll have the flight, the telly and the pepperoni pizza, but you're quite welcome to the mushy peas. Foul stuff.

I like small, sweet, firm peas. I loathe mushy peas. Sometimes perfectly reasonable-seeming peas come out tasting kind of strange and sour. Some sauces improve peas, but ketchup isn't amongst them. I know these things because I used to be able to eat ketchup.
