It's less useful than it could be, as it's on the ex-Telewest side of Virgin (it used to be mirrors.blueyonder.co.uk - in fact the webpage title said that until recently). Being on the 'wrong side' means packets have to go down NTL's network to Telehouse to transit to the Telewest side (judging from the traceroute). That means it's probably not significantly faster than any other mirrors that might be connected to LINX/Telehouse.
