<fx: reads reviews> Yeek. Sounds like it'd have me throwing it at the wall and stomping on it in short order. Celebrating several things about life I spend all my time trying to educate myself out of succumbing to.
Sounds superb. Can I put in a request to borrow it some time please?
BTW do you and/or lnr still have my copy of Perdido Street Station? Just wondering, not keeping track very well of what's where (in more ways than one) ...
Did I give you King Rat back? What about Silence of the Lambs? RJK does still have First Training and the one on children's rhymes and so on. I'm trying to think if there are any more I should give back. Oh, en attendant Godot is just too hard (having never read the English version either), so I might give up on that for now.
Yep, I've got King Rat and Silence of the Lambs back. Remembered First Training and Opie & Opie, but had forgotten about En Attendant Godot. Happy to have that back, but if you want to borrow the English version instead/as well I'll see if I've got a spare copy -- kaet has my annotated version.
God, we should just have a local newsgroup for this. :-)
