Would the individual layers (cake, orange goo, chocolate) be correspondingly thicker?

Actually, I've just had an idea to create a Jaffa Cheesecake, using mascarpone with orange zest and rind, with a healthy splash on Cointreu. And lashings of set chocolate on top. Om nom nom.

I made one like that for Jacob's birthday, many years ago. It was a lot of fun.

[X] This is a vicious libel! I may be only short but I am considerably more than 12" (coo er gosh) and would not want to be made into a cake anyway. Though I suppose I could jump out of a cake if required.

In the unlikely event that anyone found the idea of a 12" Jaffa Cake unappealing, maybe a secondary gambit would be marketing it as an "orange and chocolate dessert pizza"?

Back when I was applying to universities, Cambridge was my first choice and the then quite new RHBNC was my second. One of the appeals of RHBNC (apart from being semi-rural yet still giving the full London grant) was that their computer laboratory was doing a research project with McVities on how to detect off-centre smashing orangey bits automatically.

They had a stash of Jaffa Cakes to test with. Sadly, they all lacked chocolate because that was the stage of the process at which the system was to run. )-8

I've just eaten four ordinary-sized jaffa cakes and I do indeed feel sick now.
