I liked:

  • Bryce’s romantic tale being trumped by the guard’s cynicism.
  • Keiko’s mum kicking up a fuss at the airport.
  • ”Yeah, I think I’ll keep my shirt on this time.”
  • Noh and Campos’ little contretemps at the door.
  • Nicole being saved rather than murdered. (Actually, I’d guessed earlier this might be what happened; the only people who might conceivably have had it in for her were Bryce and Keiko, and of course they had other business.)
  • Lita making off with Janis. The only thing better would have been if it was Carline.

A few questions:

  • Did Wedeck and Vreede see their re-entry into the FBI building in their flashes? They’ve been very quiet about it if so. Wedeck’s always had the air of knowing more than he’s been letting on.
  • Was Vogell just guessing that Benford had to be dead? Why was he telling the bodyguard, anyway? Seems a bit of a heavy subject to be just making conversation. I suppose if you’re CIA you’re supposed to be a shady sort by definition.

They were pretty obviously expecting a second series right up to the end; we don’t know what happened to Benford in the end, we don’t know who’s really behind the blackouts, we’ve not seen the Washington side of the Jericho fallout at all. Perhaps it can continue in some other medium; it wouldn’t be the first TV series to live beyond its run this way.

Stanford Wedeck was the boss. He might have said, yes, but it seems entirely in character to keep the details quiet l-) The FF had to have finished by the time he actually fired: otherwise his target would very likely have known in advance what was going to happen, too.
