Erm. I think it's just you. Whether that's you being picky or everyone else being indiscriminate is a matter of perspective, of course...
Some people do ask for particular things not to be associated with their name, or with their full name. Sometimes they tell me why and sometimes not; I don't much care what their reason is or even whether I'd think it's a good one - I don't want to deny people control over their own image.
