There are other things we were thinking of going to Ikea for as well, in fact, but it might be sensible to wait for a bit more financial stability. We've still got enough plates, we'll just have to be a bit less lazy about the washing up (not that we're actually very lazy about it usually).
I can still do dinner on matching plates for 6, and non-matching for, erm, about 13 or so, so as rjk says we're not short of plates :-)
The current lot were dirt cheap from Argos, and I intend to buy something nice at some point in the future when feeling a bit more rich, but it might now end up being a little sooner than originally intended. Still nice cutlery first though I think.
