Job situation

It seems to be the week of personal contacts paying off. I've got an in-person interview later this week with nCipher (probably tomorrow but they're not sure yet), sent a CV to Plasmon via one friend and to Smallworld via another.

In other news, I have concluded that any serious relationship with the opposite sex will at some point inevitably include shoe-shopping.

I have to say I've never been shoe-shopping with an opposite-sex partner in my life, IIRC. Mind you, I dislike shopping for clothing in general anyway, and very rarely do it. I wouldn't want to inflict it on someone else as well :-)
Best of luck with the jobs - did RRW mention anything to you, btw? He said he would.

I think I meant it as a statement about me, rather than about the whole world. There was an earlier version about being accidentally tickled by long hair, too...

I haven't heard anything from Richard yet.
