This must be one of the first photos I ever took. The small boy is my brother. I was given a 110 format camera when I was small - perhaps seven or so? I don't know what's become of it now. It'd have been either my birthday or Christmas, both are in December so the snow doesn't really tell you which unless you can remember details of Bournemouth's weather in the 1980s.

I'm not convinced I'd have still been in a cub scout uniform in 1985 though...

I have a picture of you in a cub scout uniform in Spring 1985 and a note that you finished cubs then. But my picture shows a lot of badges on the jersey so was later than yours. The holiday that took us to Germany etc was June 1982.
