Attempted break-in

We had an attempted break-in some time in the last week. Naath found on Friday evening that the back door couldn't be opened and when the locksmith came today he said it was definitely the result of a break-in attempt; on investigation the bolt was bent. He made a temporary repair but the lock will need replacing. The police visited fairly promptly and took a statement.

You could now put a "LOL BURGLARY FAIL YOU SUCK" sign in your back window, but that might just be asking for more trouble.

If anyone who is going to be annoyed about it is in a position to see it, it's probably already more trouble.

Anyway, I'm glad to hear they failed. (Still disturbing though, of course.)

eCops keeps warning about burglaries in North Cambridge. I must remember to turn our security light back on, now the bathroom light has been fixed.
